Step 1

For preparing special beef dry, heat oil in a pressure cooker over a medium heat and saute the onions till it becomes golden brown.

Step 2

Add in cardamom, dry red chillies, madras masala paste, turmeric powder, green chillies, cloves and star anise. Saute it for some time.

Step 3

Toss in the beef and mix well. Cover the pressure cooker with the lid and allow it to cook on low flame.

Step 4

Open the lid and allow it to boil if there is excess water.

Step 5

Then add in the tamarind juice, sugar and salt.

Step 6

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Step 7

Special beef dry is ready. Serve hot with rice, chapatti, etc.
