Step 1

For preparing special chicken kadai, heat oil in a pressure cooker, add green chillies and ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 minute.

Step 2

Then add onions and chopped tomatoes. Saute till the onions become light brown.

Step 3

Then add the tomato puree, roasted-powdered coriander seeds and roasted-powdered dry red chillies.

Step 4

Add chilly powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and salt. Saute it for 2 minutes on low flame.

Step 5

Then add in chicken, dry fenugreek leaves and capsicum.

Step 6

Add required water, close it and allow it to cook for 1 whistle.

Step 7

Open the lid and allow it to simmer till the gravy becomes thick.

Step 8

Garnish with coriander leaves, mix it and remove it from the flame.

Step 9

Special chicken kadai is ready. Serve hot with parotta.
