Step 1

For preparing special egg pathiri, first knead flour well by adding water and salt as required.

Step 2

Make small balls out of the dough and press it as we make chapatti.

Step 3

Apply ghee on it and fold the four corners and press again(this is called kannu pathiri) and then keep it aside.

Step 4

For preparing egg filling, mix eggs with sugar and cardamom powder. Scramble the egg mixture in a pan.

Step 5

Fry cashew nuts, kismis and shallots in ghee one by one separately. Add it to the egg scramble made above and stir well. Keep this aside.

Step 6

Take an oiled tawa and fry the kannu pathiri, pouring in little ghee, till it becomes light brown in color.

Step 7

Fill the egg filling inside the fried kannu pathiri with a spoon.

Step 8

Fry it again in the pan on both sides in low heat.

Step 9

Special egg pathiri, a tasty recipe is ready.
