Step 1

For preparing crispy onion rings, cut the onions into circular slices and separate them into rings.

Step 2

In a bowl mix in maida, corn flour, baking powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, pepper powder, salt and egg. Make a lump free batter with required water. Keep it aside.

Step 3

Heat oil in a deep frying pan.

Step 4

Dip each of the rings in the batter and then fry it in oil till it becomes light brown on low flame.

Step 5

Spicy onion rings are ready. Serve hot for tea.
