Step 1

For preparing spicy pork dry fry, blend cumin seeds, cinnamon, cloves, pepper corns, turmeric powder and chilly powder to a fine powder. Keep it aside.

Step 2

Then blend the onion, tomato, ginger, garlic, vinegar and salt and blend it again to a fine paste. Keep it aside.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pressure cooker and fry the ground paste till the oil separates.

Step 4

Then add in the ground masala powder and sautT for 2 minutes on low flame.

Step 5

Toss in the pork and mix it well for 3 minutes on low flame.

Step 6

Pour in required water and allow it to cook with a closed lid.

Step 7

Allow it to simmer till the water evaporates.

Step 8

Spicy pork dry fry is ready. Serve hot.


Thanks for the recipe. You should specify the time also.

RajTime varies on the meat. Usually it takes about 20 to 30 mts for pork to cook well in pressure cooker. Better check after 30 mts and cook again if needed.


I had tried your way of pork dry preparation for the first time in my life. Of course I had to cook as I as I live in abroad. And indeed it has come wonderful. Thank you for the wonderful recipe.

Why use a pressure cooker if you are not going to pressure cook it? Secondly, it would be wise to indicate how much time (minutes) you should cook with the lid closed.
