Step 1

For preparing spicy potatoes, cut the potatoes into cubes and cook it in salt water. Drain the water and keep it aside.

Step 2

In a bowl mix in maida, corn flour, baking powder, chilly powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, pepper powder, salt and egg. Make a lump free batter with required water.

Step 3

Heat oil in a deep frying pan.

Step 4

Dip each of the potato cubes in the batter and then fry it in oil till it becomes light brown on low flame.

Step 5

Spicy potatoes are ready. Serve hot as a snack for tea.
