Step 1

For preparing spinach biryani, heat oil in a vessel and splutter cumin seeds.

Step 2

Add in dry red chillies, green chillies and garlic paste. Saute it for 1 minute.

Step 3

Toss in the cashew nuts and fry it for another 1 minute on low flame.

Step 4

Then add in spinach leaves, turmeric powder and salt.

Step 5

Mix in the cooked basmati rice, cover and allow it to cook on low flame.

Step 6

Spinach biriyani is ready. Serve hot.
