Step 1

For preparing spinach pakoda`s in gravy, heat oil in a pan and saute the onions till golden brown.

Step 2

Add in the ginger-garlic paste and fry it well.

Step 3

Toss in the tomatoes and sautT well.

Step 4

Then add in cumin powder, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder and chilly powder. Keep it aside to cool then blend it into a fine paste.

Step 5

In a bowl mix in the spinach leaves, gram flour, maida, salt, cumin powder, coriander powder and a very little water(just to bind the pakoda`s).

Step 6

Make small balls and keep it aside.

Step 7

Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry the pakoda`s on low flame till they become golden brown.

Step 8

In a vessel, heat the onion and tomato paste with a little water. Allow it to cook for 10 minutes on low flame with a closed lid.

Step 9

Add in the fried pakodas and allow it to cook for another 10 minutes.

Step 10

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Step 11

Spinach pakoda`s in gravy is ready. Serve hot with chapatti, porota, bread, etc.
