Ingredients

  • Ladies Fingers - 200 Gms
    Red Chilli Powder - 1 tspn
    Turmeric Powder - 1/ tspn
    Cumin Seeds - 1 tspn
    Garam Masala - ½ tspn
    Aamchur - 1 tspn
    Coriander Leaves - 5 – 6 Nos.
    Chopped Onion - ¼ cup
    Salt - To taste
    Coconut/Refined Oil - 4 – 5 tspns

Heat some Oil in a frying pan and add Cumin seeds

Then add the chopped Onion into the frying pan and stir it

Also add Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Garam Masala powder, Amchur and Salt and stir the mix further for about 5 minutes

Masala for filling the Ladies fingers is ready

Wash and cut both ends of the Ladies fingers. Also cut open one side of the Ladies fingers (to fill the masala) as shown in the picture

Fill the Masala (as much as possible) into the Ladies finger and press it (so that the Masala is not coming out from the Ladies fingers)

Heat the frying pan and then keep the masala filled Ladies fingers in it as shown in the picture

Apply little Oil in the frying pan

Cover the frying pan with a plate/lid and allow to cook the Ladies finger (do not apply water) on medium flame for about 10 minutes.

When one side of the Ladies fingers are cooked well turn them to other side and cook for some more time. When the Ladies fingers are cooked well, put off the stove and change it into a serving plate.

Step 10

Stuffed Ladies fingers is ready and this can be served with Chappathi/Poori or as side dish for lunch/dinner.
