Step 1

Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan.

Step 2

Add 1 tsp of urad dal and mustard.

Step 3

After the mustard crackles, add the onions and green chillies and fry the onions till pale and transparent.

Step 4

Add the chopped tomato and cook until the tomato is mashed well.

Step 5

Add a little salt just enough for the onion and tomato.

Step 6

Add water to this just to cover the onion and tomato and let it get cooked.

Step 7

Meanwhile, add 1 cup of water to the bengal gram flour with a little turmeric and salt enough for this mixture.

Step 8

Mix well such that the bengal gram flour gets blended well in the water.

Step 9

After the onion and tomato mixture gets cooked, add the gram flour solution to this and keep stirring well until the mixture thickens.

Step 10

:- This tastes great with chappathis.


To this receipe jus add 2 - 3 Garlic (smashed)will give extra taste and i have tried ........
