Cook rice in a pressure cooker by adding 2 cups of water.
Add 2 cups of milk and keep it in low flame. Add 1 more cup of milk and keep it till it becomes half.
Now add the sugar and then add the rest of the milk and keep it for another 10 minutes.
Switch off the flame and add the cardamom powder.
Now tasty rice payasam is ready.
