Step 1

For preparing tamilnadu special vada, roast and powder split bengal gram, pigeon peas, green gram and black gram.

Step 2

Mix all the grams with required water to make a thick dough and keep it aside for 20 min.

Step 3

Add the ground mixture, green chillies, asafoetida, onion, curry leaves and salt. Mix well.

Step 4

Pat into round patties and deep fry till light brown in colour.

Step 5

Tamilnadu special vada is ready. Serve hot with chutney.
