hindi: Cheeni / Shakkar
Mix together eggs, milk and sugar in a bowl and keep it aside.
Heat a non-stick pan and spread it with a little oil.
Take the bread slice and dip it in the above mixture and keep it on the pan.
After 1 minute, turn it over and fry the other side too.
Repeat the procedure for the remaining slices.
add some cardamom`s and a pinch of salt when making the egg milk mixture....its also called bombay toast .
yes some people will say it is a french toast but actually it is a cuch muslims food they have a lot of sweety food like this
Add a dash of vanilla to the egg mix and sprinkle the bread with cinnamon while on the pan for even better flavour!
This is a good recipie and a quick one. The french toast will be better if you put a drop of vanilla essence in the batter
Agree this is french toast, excelent & very tasty stuff. Replace oil with a touch of pure ghee for even better taste. A simple & must try dish.
