Pre-heat the oven.
Cut each bread slice diagonally and generously smear butter on one side of the bread slices.
Mix together the grated cheese, Mayonnaise, black pepper powder, onion, tabasco sauce & salt.
Top each bread slice with the mixture (approx. 1 tsp. mixture for each piece of bread).
Grease a baking tray with little butter/oil. Place the bread slices in the baking tray and bake, till the topping is golden brown and the sides of the bread slices turn crispy(10-15 minutes).
:- Serve piping hot with evening tea.
The toast is very good! I added some ripe tomatoes and shredded potatoes to the spread and it really got the smoky tomato taste and hash brown potato taste!
