Step 1

Cut each teasel gourd into 2 or 3 round pieces(depending on size).

Step 2

Take all other ingredients except oil into a bowl. Add water and prepare a medium thick dough.

Step 3

Put a deep bottomed frying pan on the stove. Add oil and heat.

Step 4

Dip the teasel gourd pieces in the dough, cover each piece adequately with the dough and carefully put one by one into the boiling oil.

Step 5

Deep fry the pieces on medium flame until they turn into dark brown.

Step 6

Serve hot with hot & sweet tomato sauce. Serves better as a snack item.
