Step 1

For preparing tortilla, mix the ingredients: flour and baking powder in a bowl by hand.

Step 2

Add butter to it and knead by hand again.

Step 3

Sprinkle water and knead again to make a dough. Knead at least 20 times.

Step 4

Keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Step 5

Make tortillas as we make chappathis out of the dough.

Step 6

Heat a pan and put the tortillas in it. Cook one side for 10 sec, turn it and cook the other side for 20 sec. Turn again and cook that side for another 10sec.

Step 7

There will be brown spots on the tortillas when its cooked well.

Step 8

Store the tortillas in a foil or cloth.

Step 9

Serve it with egg, rice, hamburger or alone when required.
