Step 1

For preparing traditional mutton soup, place the mutton bone pieces in an earthen pot and add 7 cups of water.

Step 2

Boil and then lower the heat. Add ginger and curry leaves and simmer for 45 minutes. Remove the earthen pot from fire.

Step 3

Strain the mutton soup and keep aside. Add required salt.

Step 4

Take a pan and heat ghee. Splutter mustard seeds and fry shallots. Pour the fried shallots and ghee into the mutton soup.

Step 5

Traditional mutton soup, an easy nutritious recipe, is ready.
