Take the `unni appam kara` and add oil to each hole.
When it boils, pour the mix.
Remove the unniappams from the holes, when they are done.
THANKS! VERY NICE AND TASTY
I will surely rate the recipe again once i have tried it. I am going to buy the vessel tomorrow and make appams for Vishu. Banana definitely gives the appams a softness but reduces the shelf life as well!
Thnx for this recipe. It is simple and short and is a great help for people like us who want to cook and connect back to kerala. I remember my mom adding some chipped dry coconut and cardamom to enhance the taste. Thnx again for it.
I tried the same way as said in the recipe. I had to add more water for the batter to be in the correct consistency. Otherwise everything was good.
thanx a lot .I was in search of this recipe...
I would like to know if it is possible to make unni appams without adding banana to it.
I am in the process of making it.One thing I found was that one cup of water was insufficient to make the batter.I had to add milk in order to make the batter of the required consistency.Or was there something wrong that I did.Well hopefully it turns out GREAT!!!
What is the container used. Where can we get it.
It was really nice
I think it is same as paniyaram vessel.
