Step 1

For preparing vada paavo, mix gram flour and salt with required water to make a thick paste. Keep it aside.

Step 2

Add ginger, garlic, chilly paste and required salt to the mashed potatoes. Mix well.

Step 3

Splutter mustard seeds in oil. Add in curry leaves, turmeric powder and the mashed potato mixture. Mix well.

Step 4

Make lemon sized balls out of it. Dip each ball in gram flour paste and deep fry it in oil.

Step 5

Take the bun and slice it in the middle without separating it completely.

Step 6

Put 1 tsp of each chutney inside the bun and 1 ball of vada. Close the bun and insert a toothpick to fix the bun.

Step 7

Vada paavo is ready. Serve immediately.
