Step 1 Vattayappam Recipe

Step 1

Grind the soaked rice with coconut, rice, instant yeast, salt, sugar and cardamom along with required water.The batter should be thick and keep it aside for 3 - 4 hours.

Apply a little ghee in a cake tin and pour the batter into it.Put some raisins, cashews on the top.Steam it for 15 -20 minutes.

Vattayappam is ready. Serve hot with tea or coffee.
