First cut the vegetables in round shapes and dip into the water then drain after some time. Make a batter with 2.5tbsp cornflour, salt and water.Marinate the vegetables in the batter then fry in oil.
Heat oil in a pan , add chopped onion, ginger/garlic paste and green chilly. Sauté well then add pepper powder, soya sauce , sugar and salt.Mix well.
Add the fried vegetables ,coriander leaves into the pan and mix well.
Mix the cornflour with 1/2 cup water , pour over the vegetables and stir till the vegetables are coated well with the sauce.
Vegetable home style curry is ready.Serve hot with naan, roti or chapati.
