Step 1 Vendakka (Ladies Finger) Fry Recipe

Step 1

Wash the Vendakka (Ladies fingers), cut and remove both up and down sides then cut them vertically as shown in the picture.

Add Red Chilli powder, Rava (Suji), Aamchur powder, Turmeric powder, Asafoetida powder, Ginger and Garlic paste and Salt into the vertically cut Vendakka pieces and mix them together. Some masala can also fill inside the Vendakka pieces and keep them aside for about 5 – 10 minutes.

Heat Oil in a Frying pan/Cheenachatti, place the masala coated Vendakka pieces in the Frying pan/Cheenachatti and cover it with a lid/plate and allow to cook the pieces on steam.

When one side of the Vendakka (Ladies finger) pieces are cooked well, turn them to other side and allow to cook that side also.
