Ingredients

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.

Step 2

Splutter mustard seeds.

Step 3

Add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds and curry leaves.

Step 4

Add onions, green chillies and garlic.

Step 5

Fry well, until golden brown.

Step 6

Add tomato and fry, till the tomato blends well.

Step 7

Add tamarind water and allow it to boil.

Step 8

When it starts to boil, add turmeric powder, chilly powder and coriander powder.

Step 9

When all the ingredients get cooked well and start emiting a nice aroma, add the coconut milk.

Step 10

Allow it to boil for a few more mins.

ma hubby loves onion very much and he loved it.. i added a little bit of vinegar because the curry wasnt having pulippu eventhou i put puli, but it tasted even more good. thanks and keep posting recipes..
