Step 1

For preparing yummy vermicelli payasam, heat ghee in a vessel. Fry the cashew nuts and raisins in it. Keep it aside.

Step 2

In the same ghee, add vermicelli and fry till golden brown.

Step 3

Pour water and allow it to cook on low flame.

Step 4

Stir constantly to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the vessel.

Step 5

Boil the milk.

Step 6

When the vermicelli is half cooked, pour in the boiling milk and mix well. Allow it to cook till soft.

Step 7

Add milk maid, raisins, cashew nuts and cardamom. Stir it well.

Step 8

Put a pinch of salt and mix well. Remove it from the flame.

Step 9

Yummy vermicelli payasam is ready. Serve hot.
