Ingredients

  • mudakathan leafs 1 handful
    cumin 1 sp
    pepper 1 sp
    salt to taste
    turmeric 1/4 sp
    garlic 3 pods
    curry leaves few
    tomato 1
    tamarind juice 3 sp
    water 2 cups

rinse the leaves and saute it for a minute

add water and cook it

in a mixer jar crush cumin , pepper, tomatoes,curry leafs and garlic

add this mixture to the boiling leaves

add tamarind water and let it boil

finally add the seasonings. curry leaves, red chili, hing, and mustard seeds to the rasam and serve.
