Kalan (Morozhichha Koottaan)
Kalan is one of the most traditional food from the state of Kerala. This is a curry prepared with yogurt, vegetables ,coconut and spices. This is mostly prepared during he time of Onam, Sadhya. Usually this dish is prepared with Vegtables like Yam, Plantain (Raw Banana). These veggies are cooked in a curd, coconut mixture and tempered with coconut oil.
