  • Ginger(garlic paste - 3 tbsp) -
  • Tomatoes(finely chopped) - 2 nos
  • Potatoes(cut in big cubes) - 2 nos
  • Chilly powder - 3 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves(chopped) - 5 springs
  • Pepper(A pinch) -
  • Vinegar - 2 tbsp
  • Oil - 1/2 cup

Instructions
  1. For preparing pork vindaloo, clean the pork and cut it into pieces. Keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker and fry onions till it becomes transparent.
  3. Then add the ginger-garlic paste and fry well.
  4. Once it fries well, add chilly powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and salt. Mix it well.
  5. Add the tomatoes and fry it well till the oil separates.
  6. Then put the potatoes, pork and required water in it. Close the lid with the whistle.
  7. Allow it to cook for 4 whistles or till the pork is cooked.
  8. Once the pork is cooked remove the lid.
  9. Allow it to boil.
  10. Garnish with pepper, coriander leaves and vinegar.
  11. Pork vindaloo is ready. Serve hot with rice, bread, paratha etc.
