Aval Vada (poha Vada)
this is different recipe. All of them will prepare vada with and kind of dal but aval is different taste and crispy

  • Aval – 1cup
  • Besan flour – 1/2cup
  • Onion(chopped) – 1
  • Red chili powder – 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4tsp
  • Salt(as taste) –
  • Asafeotida – 1/4tsp
  • Curry leaves(little) –
  • Oil for frying –
  1. Soak aval and drain excess water and keep aside
  2. In bowl mash aval and add all ingredients
  3. Add little water to make dough
  4. Heat oil and drop small flat vada and cook for 10 mins both side and drain out
  5. Now its ready to serve Aval Vada ( Poha vada)
