Baked Asparagus-Shatwar-Thaneervittan Kilangu
Asparagus, cracker crumbs, cheese and other ingredients are baked together

  • Asparagus(cooked, Shatavari) – 350g
  • Mixed vegetables – 1cup
  • Bread crumps – 1cup
  • Cheese(grated) – 1/2cup
  • Pepper powder(As reqd) –
  • Butter – 1tbsp
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  1. Boil asparagus in salt water for 2 minutes, drain and keep aside.
  2. In a bowl mix corn flour with water and place bread crumps on other bowl.
  3. Dip the asparagus in corn flour and roll on bread crumps and deep fry it in oil. Drain and keep aside.
  4. Heat butter in pan, add mixed vegetables, chopped garlic, pepper and salt. Add asparagus and stir it. Sprinkle cheese before serving.
