Baked Egg With Khoya

  • Egg(separate white and yolk) – 2nos
  • Sugar 75g
  • Khoya – 125g
  • Condensed milk 1/2cup
  • Mixed nuts(blanched & chopped) – 1 1/2tbsp
  • Cardamom(ground) – 1/4tsp
  • Saffron(A pinch) –
  • Vanilla Essence – 1/2tsp
  1. First soak saffron in 1/2 tbsp of milk.
  2. Grease a baking pan.
  3. Take a bowl and stir in egg yolks, condensed milk and sugar. Beat well until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Now add khoya and blend well again.
  5. Add cardamom powder, almonds, saffron and vanilla essence.
  6. Beat the egg whites using an electric beater to a thick, creamy state.
  7. Pour into the yolk mix carefully. Mix well.
  8. Transfer this mix into the greased baking pan and bake at 350 F for 30-35 minutes.
  9. Insert a toothpick and check whether it comes out clean.
  10. Baked egg with khoya, a yummy snack for kids is ready. Cut in shapes of your choice.
