  • Raw Rice(soaked for 5 hours) - 3 cups
  • Cooked rice - 1 cup
  • Split Bengal gram(soaked for 5 hours, Urunu parippu) - 1/2 cup
  • Carrot(peeled and grated) - 1/2 cup
  • Buttermilk - 4 -
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing beaten rice carrot dosa, wash the rice and split bengal gram thoroughly. Soak this mixture in buttermilk for 6 hours.
  2. Grid the beaten rice, soaked split bengal gram, soaked raw rice and cooked rice to a fine paste adding required water to make a dosa batter consistency.
  3. Add in salt and grated carrot. Mix it well.
  4. Heat a dosa frying pan and spread a tea spoon of oil. Pour in a spoonful of the batter on the frying pan and spread it in circles.
  5. Drizzle oil to the edges of the dosa. Turn the dosa and cook on the other side.
  6. Beaten rice carrot dosa¦s are ready. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
