For the beef balls:

  • Potatoes(peeled and cubed) – 2nos
  • Beans(chopped) – 1/2cup
  • Carrot(chopped) – 1/2cup
  • Tomatoes(finely choped) – 2nos
  • Onions(finely chopped) – 2nos
  • garlic(minced) – 2cloves
  • Pepper powder(A pinch) –
  • Garam masala(A pinch) –
  • Water(As reqd) –
  • Corn flour(mixed in a little water) – 1tbsp
  • Coriander leaves(finely chopped) – 3springs
  • Thyme(finely chopped) – 1spring
  • olive oil(As reqd) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  1. For preparing beef balls in vegetable soup, grind the beef with salt.
  2. In a bowl, mix in ground beef, garlic paste, chilly powder, green chillies, onion, oregano, parsley, garam masala, pepper powder and eggs. Combine all well.
  3. Make small lemon size balls out of the mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry the meat balls for 10 minutes till it becomes brown in colour on low flame. Keep it aside.
  5. Heat oil in pressure cooker and saute the onions on low flame till it becomes transparent.
  6. Add in the garlic and salt. Fry well.
  7. Toss in the tomatoes and garam masala and pepper powder. Fry it.
  8. Then add in the potatoes, beans and carrot. Pour in the water and allow the veggies to cook.
  9. Add in the fried beef balls, thyme, corn flour paste and coriander leaves. Mix it and allow it to simmer for 7 minutes on low flame.
  10. Beef balls in vegetable soup is ready. Serve hot.
