Instructions
  1. Grate the beetroot.
  2. Boil with 3 litres water for 15 mts.
  3. Simmer for 10 mts.
  4. Filter the beetroot scrapings.
  5. Prepare the yeast in the lukewarm water about 50 ml with one tsp sugar. Keep aside.
  6. Mix the sugar with beetroot juice when is hot so that sugar will dissolve easily.
  7. Once the juice is lukewarm, add the yeast mixture, lime juice and strong tea also. 8)Once it is cool, fill in the bottles only upto half level so that there will be enough space for the juice to ferment.
  8. After 10 days, filter it if necessary. Taste and see whether sugar is adequate. If not, please add powdered white sugar so that it will dissolve easily. Otherwise wine will be bitter.
  9. You can use beetroot wine after 15 days.
