Bread Cutlet – North Indian Style
Cutlets made with bread and without using egg

  • Bread slices – 10
  • Onions(finely chopped, big) – 2nos
  • Green chillies(finely ground) – 3
  • Curd – 1
  • Chilly powder – 1tsp
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  • Oil for frying –
  1. Cut the crust of the bread on all 4 sides and break it up into small pieces.
  2. Mix together onions, green chilly paste, curd, chilly powder and salt.
  3. Mix the bread with the above paste so that all ingredients are mixed well.
  4. Make small flattened balls as in cutlets in any desired shape.
  5. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  6. Deep fry on both sides, until golden brown.
  7. :- Serve hot with tomato sauce.
  8. :- Can include shredded chicken or fish for non-vegetarians.
