Instructions
  1. For preparing brinjal and green peas gravy, roast the brinjals directly over the flame on all sides.
  2. Allow it to cool completely and mash it. Keep it aside.
  3. Heat oil in a vessel. Add in onion and green chillies. Fry it well.
  4. Then add in the tomato, turmeric powder, garam masala, pepper and salt. Fry well till the oil separates.
  5. Put in green peas and mix well. Allow it to cook with a little water.
  6. Once the green peas are cooked add in the mashed brinjals. Cook for another 5 minutes on low flame.
  7. Then put in coriander leaves and mix it. Switch off the flame.
  8. Heat oil in another vessel. Splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves. Pour into the brinjal gravy.
  9. Brinjal and green peas gravy is ready. Serve hot with chapati.
