For seasoning:-
  1. Heat some oil in a pan.
  2. Add the cut cabbage pieces and fry for 3 mins.
  3. Add ginger, garlic, green and red chillies, mustard seeds and coriander and sprinkle asafoetida and fry for 5 mins.
  4. Sprinkle turmeric powder.
  5. Allow it to cool.
  6. Add tamarind juice and salt to it. Mix well.
  7. Grind it to a fine paste.
  8. Season it with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
