  • Chicken - 1/2 kg
  • Potatoes - 200 g
  • Onions(finely sliced, big) - 2 nos
  • garlic(grated) - 4 cloves
  • Chicken Masala powder - 2 tbsp
  • Tomatoes(chopped) - 400 g
  • Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
  • olive oil(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing chicken and potato, wash and cube the potatoes(do not remove the skin).
  2. Pressure cook the potatoes in water and salt. Drain the water, remove outer skin of potatoes and keep it aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan and saute the onions till it becomes transparent.
  4. Add chicken masala, grated garlic, tomatoes, chilly powder, garam masala, cumin seeds and salt. Saute it for 2 minutes on low flame.
  5. Toss in the chicken with a little water and allow it to cook.
  6. Then add in the cooked potatoes and mix it well. Allow it to simmer on low flame till the water evaporates.
  7. Chicken and potato is ready. Serve hot with chapatti.
