Instructions
  1. For preparing chicken-egg upma, roast the vermicelli in a vessel for 1 minute. Remove it from the flame.
  2. Heat coconut oil in the same vessel and scramble the eggs with a pinch of pepper powder and salt. Remove it and keep it aside.
  3. In the same vessel heat coconut oil and saute the shallots with ginger-garlic paste.
  4. Then add in green chillies, chicken, pepper powder and salt. Saute for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour a little water and allow the chicken to cook.
  6. Then pour in 3 cups of water in the chicken and allow it to boil.
  7. Toss in the roasted vermicelli and scrambled eggs with curry leaves and mix it well. Allow it to cook on low flame with a lid.
  8. Chicken-egg upma is ready. Serve hot.
