Chicken Podimass
This is our family favourt dish. this was introduced by my sister and this taste goes very well

  • Chicken – 300gm
  • Onion 1
  • Coconut 1/4cups
  • Cashew nuts – 10
  • Green chili – 3
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1tblsp
  • Coriander(small) –
  • Turmeric 1/2tsp
  • Salt(as needed) –
  • Pepper – 1tsp
  • Oil(* 2 tsp) –
  1. Wash chicken and add salt and steam
  2. Steam for 15 mis and allow to cool
  3. Split the chicken into small pieces
  4. Chop onions, green chili , coriander leaves
  5. In pan add oil and saute onions for few mins
  6. Add green chili and Ginger garlic paste cook for few mins
  7. Add turmeric pepper and salt combine all
  8. Now add chicken and mix well in low flame
  9. In pan add ghee and roast cashew nuts
  10. Add coconut and combine all together in low flame and add roasted cashew nuts
  11. Now garnish with coriander leaves. chicken podimass is ready to serve. it goes well with rasam sadham
