Instructions
  1. For preparing chickpeas fougath, soak chickpeas overnight and pressure cook it in salt water.
  2. Heat coconut oil in a vessel and splutter mustard seeds.
  3. Add in the curry leaves.
  4. Then add in the chickpeas with the water, garlic, tomato, turmeric powder, onion, water, green chillies, salt and grated coconut. Mix well and cook till it becomes dry.
  5. Chickpeas fougath is ready. Serve hot as a side dish for rice.
