  • Ripe chikkus(peeled, cored and mashed, Sapota) – 6nos
  • Khoya(crumbled) – 100g
  • Sugar 1/2cup
  • Ghee 2tbsp
  • Water 1/8cup
  • Almonds(flaked) –
  • Melon seeds(A few) –
  1. For preparing chikku halwa, heat a vessel and dissolve the sugar in the water to prepare a thick syrup over low flame.
  2. Add in milk, mashed chikkus, khoya and ghee stirring in intervals. Allow it to simmer till it becomes thick.
  3. Pour into a greased plate and leave to cool.
  4. Chikku halwa is ready. Serve sprinkled with almonds and melon seeds.
