Instructions
  1. For preparing colcannon, wash, peel and boil the potatoes. Mash the potatoes and keep it aside.
  2. Wash and shred cabbage. Remove the stems and boil in salt water until tender. Keep it aside.
  3. Wash and peel the carrots and turnip. Cut into pieces and cook it till tender. Mash until smooth.
  4. Melt butter in a pan. Add in the mashed potatoes, cabbage, carrot and turnip puree.
  5. Stir all the ingredients together until they are thoroughly heated.
  6. Mix in the brown sauce, salt and pepper powder.
  7. Colcannon is ready. Serve with lamb.
