Colocasia Fry
Colocasia Fry is a super tasty and delicious dish that blends well with rice dishes. Colocasia Fry is unique in taste and appeal with a golden color and crispy outer side.   • Colacacia(Seppankizhangu) – 4nos
  • Chilly powder – 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4tsp
  • Corn flour – 2tbsp
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  • Oil(For frying) –
  1. For preparing Colocasia Fry wash the colocasia well and boil in some water. You can also pressure cook for 2 or 3 whistles.
  2. Peel the skin off and cut into medium sized pieces.
  3. Prepare a paste of chilly powder, turmeric powder and required salt. Sprinkle cornflour over the mixture. Apply the chilly mixture on the sliced colocasia pieces.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Stir in the marinated colocasia pieces and fry in low to medium heat.
  5. Keep frying, until the colocasia gets a crispy coating and is golden brown in color.
  6. :- Serve Colocasia Fry as a side dish for any kind of Sambar rice or rasam rice.
  7. :- Can substitute boiled potatoes for colocasia.
