  • Corn(Cholam) – 50g
  • Split Black gram(Uzhunnu Paruppu) – 25g
  • Carrots(finely chopped) – 30g
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  1. For preparing corn idly`s, soak corn and bengal gram separately for 7 hours.
  2. Grind them separately and mix them together. Allow it to ferment for 5-6 hours.
  3. Then add in the carrots and salt in the idly batter and mix well.
  4. Pour it in an idly mould and steam it till cooked.
  5. Corn idly`s are ready. Serve with any chutney.
