Crispy Coconut Prawns
Tiger prawns are marinated, dipped in a batter and then deep fried in coconut oil

For the marinade:
  1. For preparing crispy coconut prawns, marinate the prawns in chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste and lemon juice over night in the fridge.
  2. In another bowl mix maida, chilly powder, grated coconut, turmeric powder, baking powder and salt with required water to make a thick batter. Keep it aside.
  3. Heat coconut oil in a deep frying pan.
  4. Dip each marinated prawn in the batter and deep fry it in oil on low flame.
  5. Crispy coconut prawns are ready. Serve hot as a starter.
