This is a simple dish made out of leftover dal.
Left over Cooked Dal(any type of cooked channa dal or moong dal ) –
(finely chopped, medium) –
(finely chopped) –
pods(finely chopped) –
Coriander leaves(A handful, fully chopped) –
(As reqd) –
Chilly powder –
for frying –
Take the leftover dal and mash it well, so that all the ingredients used along with it while cooking are blended well.
in a big bowl and add the dal, onions, chillies,
, coriander leaves,
and all the masalas.
Add a spoon of
and knead the flour to a smooth dough.
:- If required you may use
Refrigerate the dough for 15 – 20 mins.
Take out the dough and make lemon sized balls off it.
Roll into a small disc and then smear
and fold into a semicircle.
Again smear a little
on this and fold again to form a triangle shape.
Dust this with some flour and roll into a medium sized triangular paratta.
Cook on a tawa, until golden brown on both sides.
:- Serve hot with pickles and curd.
