Instructions
  1. For preparing delicious yam gravy, grind coconut and garlic to a fine paste with a little water. Keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a vessel and splutter mustard seeds.
  3. Add in split bengal gram, dry red chillies and curry leaves.
  4. Toss in the cooked lentils and the cooked yam. Mix it well.
  5. Sprinkle in chilly powder and turmeric powder. Mix it well.
  6. Pour in the coconut paste with a little water. Allow it to cook on low flame for 10 minutes with a closed lid.
  7. Delicious yam gravy is ready. Serve hot with chappathi, dosa, etc.
