Easy Aloo Fry
Half cooked potato pieces coated in masala batter and deep fried

  • Potato(cut into long cubes) – 250g
  • Rice flour – 1/4cup
  • Chilly powder – 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4tsp
  • Cinnamon powder(Karugapatta) – 1/4tsp
  • Garam masala 1/4tsp
  • Oil(As reqd) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  1. For preparing easy aloo fry, first immerse sliced potatoes in hot boiling water for a few minutes. Drain the potato pieces and keep aside.
  2. Make a batter with rice flour, chilly powder, turmeric powder, cinnamon powder, garam masala and salt by adding some water.
  3. Stir in the potato pieces and mix well in the batter.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the coated potato pieces to a golden brown color.
  5. Easy aloo fry, a tasty evening time snack and a favorite with kids, is ready.
