  1. Soak all rice and dal for 4 hour and grind and ferment for 8 to 10 hours
  2. In Bowl add beaten egg and fennel seed
  3. Add coconut milk and grated coconut and salt mix well
  4. Add this mixture to that batter and mix well and keep aside for ten mins
  5. Heat Appam pan add oil and pour batter
  6. Spread all over and rotate well and and some more oil and close lid
  7. Remove slowly from pan and keep aside and do all other batter as like
  8. Serve with coconut milk and non veg salna or any other gravy
