  1. Grind shallots and sweet cumin.
  2. mix ash gourd, chilly powder, salt, turmeric powder and ash gourd together in a
  3. vessel. Add enough water and boil.
  4. Add curry leaves and mix.
  5. Grind the coconut with a pinch of turmeric powder.
  6. Mix the grinded coconut and shallots with the boiling curry once the ash gourd gets
  7. well cooked.
  8. Boil for 3-5 minutes more.
  9. Serve it with rice.
